    2023: Ogbonnaya Onu resigns as Minister

    Following President Muhammadu Buhari’s directive earlier the minister of Science and Technology, Ogbonnaya Onu, has resigned his appointment.

    President Buhari had asked cabinet members with political ambition to to give way.
    The directive came on Wednesday, at the end of the weekly Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting in Abuja.
    Following the directive Niger Delta Affairs Minister, Godswill Akpabio, Emeka Nwajuiba, Minister of State for Education, Rotimi Amaechi, Minister of Transportation have resigned.
