At last the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) 96th National Executive Committee (NEC) has jettisoned the zoning arrangement that would have made the presidential contest an exclusive reserve of the South.
It rather threw the contest opened for the party’s 2023 presidential ticket.
PDP’s position came to the fore during the party’s NEC meeting, Wednesday, in Abuja.

The NEC has appointed former President of the Senate, David Mark to Chair the Convention Committee ahead of the party’s National Convention to elect the party’s presidential candidate.
