The people of Oboroke community in Ihima, Okehi Local Government Area, after several months of darkness, have seen a new dawn as the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) senatorial candidate for Kogi Central, Barr. Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan has donated a new transformer to ease their suffering

The PDP senatorial candidate donated the transformer on Thursday.

The residents of the community have been celebrating the good news, explaining that they had been in darkness for 8 months when the old transformer serving the area broke down.

A former House of Representatives member and Director General Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan Campaign Organization, Alhaji Abdulrahman Badamasiuy delivered the new transformer to the community.
He said, the PDP senatorial candidate has been championing community development even though she has never held any political position.

He noted that Barr. Natasha will continue to answer the call of her people and do more when she gets to the Senate chamber.

To the residents of Oboroke in Ihima, it was a promise kept by the PDP senatorial candidate after she promised to donate a new transformer to the area when the people informed her of their challenge during her Ward rally in the area on January 22, 2023.
