One of the delegates, from Jigawa state at the ongoing convention of All Progressive Congress (APC) in Abuja, Alhaji Isah Baba Buji has reportedly slumped and died.
National Update gathered that the delegate is the assistant APC chairman in charge of Jigawa central zone.
He slumped in the early hours of Tuesday at the Jigawa state liaison office at FCT while getting set to participate in the APC special convention along with other delegates
Confirming the death, the Jigawa state APC public relations officer, Bashir Kundu, said “of cause he died this morning”.
Kundu added that “He slumped at Jigawa state liaison office in Abuja and he was rush to hospital but gave up the ghost before arriving at the hospital. When we arrived the hospital he was confirmed died”.
According to him, he may have died of heart failure.
