    Jigawa NNPP guber candidate says he will not probe previous administration if he wins

    The New Nigerian People Party (NNPP) gubernatorial candidate in Jigawa state, Alhaji Aminu Ibrahim Ringim has indicated that probe of previous administration is not on his card if he wins as Governor of Jigawa State.
    Ringim was the Candidate of the Peoples Democratic party (PDP) in 2015 and 2019 but lost in the two elections to the incumbent Governor Badaru Abubakar of the All Progressives Congress (APC)

    The gubernatorial candidate made the disclosure while responding to questions from newsmen shortly after his election at the party’s office in Dutse, the state capital.
    He said “If by God’s grace, I become the governor of the state in 2023, I will not probe the past government”.
    Ringim explained that he will only review the activities of the administration to understand the lapses and urgent needs of the people for quick and proper attention.

    According to him “I will continue with good policies and programmes started by previous governments”.

    “I will pay more attention to the party’s menifesto which defines the policies and programmes of my party”, he emphasis.

    Ringim therefore thanked the party’s delegates, stakeholders and other party members for the confidence and honour bestowed on him.

    “I wish to formally accept the honour and trust you bestowed on my humble self to fly the flag of our Party as its Gubernatorial Candidate for Jigawa State in the forthcoming 2023 election”

    He however urged the people of the state and Nigeria in general to use the power of their votes rationally come 2023 to rescue the state and the Nation in general.
