    Olusunle Earns Guild of Editors’ Prestigious Fellowship

    Dr Tunde Olusunle, a media personality, administrator and literary scholar, has been admitted into the Fellowship of the Nigerian Guild of Editors (NGE), the umbrella body of editors across Nigeria’s print, online and electronic media.

    The Guild conveyed the approval in a letter dated September 8, 2026, signed by its Secretary General, Onuoha Ukeh, informing Olusunle of the Standing Committee’s decision to elevate him to the prestigious professional fellowship.

    The induction ceremony is scheduled for September 26, 2026, in Enugu, as part of the Gala Night and Farewell Dinner marking the conclusion of the 22nd All Nigeria Editors’ Conference.

    In its letter, the Guild congratulated Olusunle on the recognition, which places him among prominent figures who have attained its Fellowship.

    Olusunle, who is also a Fellow of the Association of Nigerian Authors, joins distinguished members of the Guild’s Fellowship including Pa Sam Amuka-Pemu, FNGE, publisher of Vanguard; Akinrogun Olusegun Osoba, FNGE, CFR, former governor of Ogun State; Chief Onyema Ugochukwu, FNGE, CON, pioneer chairman of the Niger Delta Development Commission; Chief Ray Ekpu, FNGE, co-founder of Newswatch; and Nduka Obaigbena, FNGE, CON, proprietor of ThisDay and Arise TV.

    The Fellowship represents one of the Guild’s highest professional recognitions and is conferred on individuals considered to have made notable contributions to journalism, editing and the wider media industry.
