Chairman of the Unity and Reconciliation Committee (URC) of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Federal Capital Territory Chapter, Senator Usman Jibril Wowo, has made a passionate appeal for unity within the party, warning that unresolved grievances could threaten its future electoral success.

Speaking in Abuja while extending his Sallah greetings to the Muslim Ummah and acknowledging the Christian Lent season, Wowo emphasized the need for party members to set aside differences and embrace reconciliation. With the area council elections fast approaching, he urged stakeholders to use the party’s internal dispute resolution mechanism to address their concerns.

“The last area council elections exposed cracks within our party. If we want a stronger APC, we must resolve our differences now,” Wowo stated.

He stressed that division within the party would only weaken its chances at the polls and called for honest conversations among members.

“Every political party faces challenges, but true strength lies in coming together, identifying the issues, and moving forward in unity,” he added.

Wowo reaffirmed that reconciliation is a constitutional duty of the APC, emphasizing that fostering harmony within the party is essential to securing future victories.

“The APC is built on the foundation of dialogue and unity. Our commitment should be to strengthen these values and ensure that every member feels heard and valued,” he said.

He called on all aggrieved members to take advantage of the reconciliation committee, assuring them that the party leadership is committed to addressing concerns fairly and transparently.

    End.
