Political Heavyweights Gather in Kano for Kwankwaso’s Daughter’s Wedding

Kano was the epicenter of political and cultural significance on Saturday as high-profile dignitaries, including former President Olusegun Obasanjo, former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, and Vice President Kashim Shettima, gathered for the wedding Fatiha of the daughter of former Kano State Governor and NNPP leader, Engr. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso.
The grand ceremony, held at the historic palace of Emir Muhammad Sanusi II, attracted a remarkable array of influential figures from across Nigeria and neighboring nations.

The wedding marked a unique moment, bringing together leaders from different political backgrounds and ideologies in a unified celebration of culture.
The bride’s father, Kwankwaso, stood alongside the groom’s father, renowned businessman Dahiru Mangal, as well as Kano State Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf and Deputy Governor Aminu Abdusalam Gwarzo, underscoring the event’s significance.

In a show of loyalty, thousands of Kwankwasiyya movement members, recognizable by their red caps and attire, filled the venue, adding vibrancy and solidarity to the celebration.
The wedding, conducted according to strict Islamic customs, was led by prominent Islamic scholars, who offered prayers for the couple’s future happiness and success.

International dignitaries from neighboring Niger and Chad were also present, highlighting the far-reaching influence of the Kwankwaso and Mangal families.
