In a continued commitment to enhancing security within Bwari Area Council, the Executive Chairman, Hon. Dr. John Gabaya, has donated a brand new Toyota Hilux patrol vehicle to the IGU Divisional Police headquarters in Bwari.

The donation, presented during a ceremony at the Area Council Secretariat, is intended to support the police operational capacity in maintaining peace and security across the council.
The Chief Press Secretary to the executive chairman, Agada Ernest Godwin in a statement quoted Gabaya reiterated his administration’s dedication to safeguarding lives and property within Bwari during the handover event.
He emphasized that the donation aligns with the current administration’s focus on bolstering security and ensuring stability in the area.
This contribution adds to a series of past donations made by his administration, which have included vehicles and motorcycles for various security and paramilitary agencies operating within the council.

The Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of IGU Division, CSP Bukar Ntasiri, accepted the vehicle on behalf of the Nigerian Police Force.
Expressing gratitude, CSP Ntasiri described the day as significant not only for the police but also for the people of Igu, its surrounding communities, and the wider Bwari Area Council.

“We are grateful to Hon. Dr. John Gabaya for this generous support,” CSP Ntasiri stated. “This gesture strengthens our capacity to maintain the peace we currently enjoy in Igu and across Bwari Area Council. We are committed to using this new vehicle to uphold and protect that peace.”

The patrol vehicle is expected to enhance the police responsiveness to security challenges, further promoting a safer environment for residents of the Bwari Area Council.
