The FCT-Internal Revenue Service has reacted to the news of an Abuja based business Nigerian Lady Aisha Achimugu who recently set Genada aglow with 7-day 50th birthday party reminding her of her tax obligations to FCT-IRS.
Achimugu is the founder and managing director of Abuja’s Felak Concept Group.

The media was awashed with viral videos and images of socialite Aisha Achimugu who shut down the Caribbean Island of Grenada where she threw an extravagant 50th birthday bash.

Just as some Nigerians took to the social media to react, the FCT-IRS through its social media X-handle demanded that she makes hay while the sun shines by filling her annual tax returns without further delay

Their comment came via the social media channel where the videos and images were trending.

The agency’s comment reads,

“The FCT-Internal Revenue Service extends our warmest birthday wishes to you! May this special day be filled with joy and blessings. Remember to fulfill your tax obligations by filing your annual tax returns.”

Those who graced the birthday were said to have flown from Nigeria to the party’s location in hired jets.

The Lagos State governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu was also not left out as he graced the billionaire’s birthday celebration personally.
Sanwo-Olu flew in a private aircraft to the Carribean Island, and took residency in one of the most expensive resorts in the world.

Many officials of his government did not know his whereabouts for days, with some saying he was attending an official engagement in London while others simply said he was travelled abroad

Some of the attendees described the birthday as one of the most lavish parties they had ever seen or heard about as the celebrant hired Calivigny Island for a week and booked rooms for her guests at Silversand Grenada.
According to reports, Achimugu spent nearly $1 million (more than N1 billion) to rent the island for an entire week.

During the week-long party, Achimugu, a mother of three and a widow who lost her husband to coronavirus in 2020, was said to have changed clothes at least 30 times.

A number of local and international A-list musicians and entertainers flew in to perform at the various events. Those who performed include Kenny G (American saxophonist and composer), Waje, Flavour, Adekunle Gold, Asake and Mr Killa (a Grenada musician).

The event was filled with a lot of activities, from swimming to extravagant meals, burn fires, kayaking and even tourism.
As she returned, the Nigerian version of the Birthday continued on Friday at Transcorp Hotel, Abuja
Another one is billed for today at a location that is yet to be unveiled
