The senator representing Kogi East senatorial district in the National Assembly Isah Jibrin Echocho has congratulated the new Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, and the people of State, on his Inauguration.
The senator also congratulated the deputy governor Salifu Joel Oyibo over his successful inauguration.

The oath of office was administered on Ododo shortly after Salifu Joel Oyibo took his oath of office as the deputy governor of Kogi State.

In a statement he personally signed and made available to newsmen on Saturday, senator Echcho said,
“As you assume office today, it’s my fevrent hope and prayer that you continue to work to reconcile and unite all the individuals both within our party and the state, as you work to build a greater Kogi for all it’s citizens.”

Echocho expressed the optimism that the new Governor of the state will take the State to greater heights given his experience in governance.
“I wish you a fruitful and productive tenure, in the service of your people.”
