The House of Representatives Committee on Public Accounts, (PAC), on Monday quizzed officials of the Police Service Commission over alleged extra-budgetary spending and unaccounted funds totalling N1,066,398,223. The Committee Chaired by Dr Busayo Olluwole Oke (PDP-Osun) also kicked against the payments of some of the funds into private accounts of some PSC officials without retirement. A recent claim made by the Office of Auditor General of the Federation on alleged N375.8million vehicle purchase by the National Institute for Legislative and Democratic Studies (NILDS) in 2016 has been debunked by the institute The AGF had in the 2016 Audit Report, alleged that NILDS cornered N36 million from inflation of prices of 11 vehicles it purchased in the year totalling N375.8million .
