President and Chief Executive Officer of BelemaOil Producing Nigeria Limited, Engr. Tein Jack-Rich, has been honoured at an event marking the 250th anniversary of the independence of the United States, in recognition of his contributions to strengthening business partnerships involving American companies.
According to a statement, the recognition was presented during an award ceremony held in Washington, D.C., as part of the US 250 celebrations. The event was reportedly organised by Eric Trump.
The organisers said the award recognises international business partners whose investments and collaborations have contributed to the growth and expansion of the United States economy and its corporate sector.

Jack-Rich, an Ijaw-born oil and gas entrepreneur, was recognised for his role in advancing energy-sector partnerships through BelemaOil and its collaborations with American firms.
The statement also highlighted the company’s ongoing Belema Sweet Terminal project, described as a major crude oil export terminal under construction in Kula Community, Akuku-Toru Local Government Area of Rivers State.
When completed, the facility is expected to have the capacity to store and export up to four million barrels of crude oil at a time, with promoters projecting that it will stimulate commercial and industrial activities across the Niger Delta through partnerships with international investors, including American companies.
Congratulating Jack-Rich on the recognition, the statement described the honour as a reflection of his growing international profile and his contributions to Nigeria’s oil and gas industry.
The organisers’ claims regarding the project’s scale and anticipated economic impact have not been independently verified.
