Tensions Soar as Israel Threatens Hezbollah Building in Beirut

Israel has issued a stark warning to Hezbollah, threatening to strike a building in the southern Beirut suburb of Hadath, marking a significant escalation in hostilities between the two sides.

The warning, delivered on Friday, comes amid heightened tensions following a disrupted ceasefire that had been in place since **November**. Israeli military spokesperson Avichay Adraee released a map pinpointing the targeted building, urging residents to evacuate ahead of potential airstrikes.

Shortly after the warning, gunfire was reported in the area, fueling speculation that Hezbollah forces were mobilizing in response. Meanwhile, the Israeli military confirmed it had already launched attacks on Hezbollah positions in southern Lebanon, citing retaliation for a rocket fired from Lebanese territory into northern Israel.

However, Hezbollah has denied responsibility for the missile launch, while Israeli Defence Minister Israel Katz insisted that Lebanon must bear the consequences for any threats to Israeli territory.

“We will ensure the security of the residents of Galilee and will act forcefully against any threat,” Katz stated.

With tensions mounting, concerns are growing over the possibility of full-scale clashes between Israel and Hezbollah, further destabilizing the region.
