    Nigeria Showcases Electricity Sector Investment Opportunities at African Energy Summit

    Nigeria’s Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Mr. Wale Edun, has unveiled the country’s electricity sector as a prime destination for investment during the African Energy Summit in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.

    Speaking at an exclusive dinner with select investors and development partners ahead of the summit, the Minister outlined Nigeria’s ambitious goals for energy access, clean energy transition, and macroeconomic stability under the “Mission 300” initiative.
    Director of Information and Public Relations, Mohammed Manga in a statement quoted Edun to have emphasized Nigeria’s readiness to collaborate with global investors to drive transformative growth in its electricity sector, which he described as pivotal to achieving universal energy access and supporting the nation’s economic development.

    President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is also set to attend the summit to further strengthen Nigeria’s role in driving energy access across Africa and promoting the continent’s clean energy transition.
    His participation underscores the government’s unwavering commitment to these goals.

    The summit presents a unique opportunity for investors to partner with Nigeria in addressing the continent’s energy challenges while unlocking significant economic potential.
