    Gov. Ododo lauds Lugard TV over professional excellence

    GOVERNOR, Ahmed Usman Ododo of Kogi State has commended the professional excellence of Lugard TV, praising the operation of the media team of the government for living up to the high expectation of the people of the state.

    The Governor expressed his satisfaction during a tour of the facility which is his second visit to Government House Media Centre on Saturday in Lokoja.

    He was accompanied on the tour of facility by Hon. Leke Abejide, Member representing Yagba Federal Constituency at the National Assembly, alongside several commissioners and top government officials.

    The Lugard Television, an initiative of the government media team and brainchild of the Special Adviser to the Governor on Media, Ismail Isa, is to prepare grounds for eventual take off of Kogi State television station.

    Governor Ododo, impressed by the level of professionalism and dedication exhibited by the staff of Lugard TV lauded the efforts of the team.

    He expressed confidence in their capacity to deliver quality content and information to propagate the policies and programmes of the State.

    On his part, Hon. Leke Abejide who was impressed by the activities of Lugard TV echoed the sentiment of the Governor highlighting the importance of the media outlet in promoting the development agenda of the state.

    The visit served as a morale booster for the team and evidence of the reinforced commitment of the state government towards supporting local media institutions. (Ends)
