Pastor Chris Opens Final 2026 Healing Streams Amid Global Healing Claims

Shouts of joy and thanksgiving reportedly erupted across several countries on Friday as Pastor Chris Oyakhilome opened the final edition of the 2026 Healing Streams Live Healing Services, with participants sharing accounts of relief from pain, improved mobility and renewed hope.
The three-day programme, which runs from October 23 to 25, brought together a global audience for worship, biblical teaching, testimonies and prayer ministrations led by the president of LoveWorld.
The opening day featured Pastor Chris praying for people seeking healing in the Healing Lines before extending his ministration to participants joining remotely from different parts of the world.
Organisers said hundreds of millions of people participated in the programme, although the attendance figure was not independently verified.
A central feature of the service was Pastor Chris’s message on faith, in which he urged participants to believe God’s Word rather than allow difficult circumstances to determine their expectations.
Welcoming the global audience, the cleric described the gathering as a special moment and challenged participants to make a conscious decision to believe.
“You are right now in the presence of destiny,” he declared.
Drawing from Romans 1:16, Pastor Chris emphasised the importance of believing the Gospel, saying that individuals must receive what Jesus Christ had accomplished for them.
He also referenced the biblical account of Jairus’s daughter in Luke 8, highlighting Jesus’s instruction to reject fear and continue believing despite the report of the girl’s death.
“Don’t struggle. Only believe,” he urged participants, encouraging them to remain steadfast even when circumstances appeared discouraging.
Expanding on his message, Pastor Chris said God’s Word should take precedence over physical symptoms and adverse situations.
“The Word of God is truth. It is reality. It doesn’t matter what the symptoms are telling you. Believe the Word, not the symptoms,” he said.
The teaching set the tone for the healing ministration that followed, as Pastor Chris prayed for individuals brought before him and subsequently addressed the worldwide audience.
Celebrations reportedly followed as some participants rose from wheelchairs, abandoned crutches and expressed joy over changes they said they experienced during the service.
Images of people participating remotely were projected on giant screens as the cleric prayed for viewers connecting from different countries, including those watching from churches, healing centres and their homes.
Among the testimonies shared was that of Travail from Senegal, who said he had been diagnosed with two kidney stones and endured severe pain for nine days.
According to his account, doctors had recommended surgery because one of the stones measured nearly seven millimetres.
Travail said he was watching the programme when he heard another participant testify about being freed from kidney stones. He subsequently felt the urge to urinate and reported passing both stones.
“I’m free, Glory to God,” he said.
In Kenya, Veronica recounted two years of severe leg weakness that had made walking difficult and eventually forced her to stop working.
She said she experienced a sudden return of strength during the service and was able to stand and move more freely. She also reported an improvement in a back condition that had caused her to walk in a bent position.
Another Kenyan participant, Doreen, shared her experience after two years of eyesight problems and depression that had affected her daily life.
She said the programme’s message gave her a more hopeful outlook, adding that she experienced emotional relief and an improvement in her eyesight. Her testimony also highlighted the serious psychological distress she said she had endured before the service.
In Bangalore, India, Laveen reported relief from bodily heaviness and widespread soreness while watching the broadcast.
Meanwhile, nine-year-old Patrick in the Solomon Islands reportedly experienced relief after more than a month of fever and distress. His family said he was able to sleep after the improvement.
The testimonies were presented during a segment hosted by Evangelist Eddy Owase, a senior minister of the Healing School and host of Real Miracles Today.
The reported experiences were shared by participants during the religious programme and were not independently medically verified.
Earlier, Pastor Deola Phillips, executive minister of the Healing School and convener of the event, had urged participants to approach the service with faith and expectation.
“This is your moment of change,” she told the audience, encouraging them to pay attention to the teachings and remain focused throughout the programme.
Other ministers, including Rev. Tom Amenkhienan, Pastor John De Beer and Rev. Ray, also addressed participants, recalling testimonies from previous editions and encouraging the global audience to prepare for the programme.
As the service progressed, Pastor Chris continued to emphasise faith, prayer and the importance of believing God’s promises, declaring that every condition would be “reversed to perfection”.
The programme also featured an invitation for participants to commit their lives to Jesus Christ, with organisers reporting that many responded to the call.
The October 23–25 gathering is the 18th edition of the Healing Streams Live Healing Services and the final edition scheduled for 2026.
The programme continues through Sunday, October 25, with participants able to follow the broadcast through Healing Streams TV and the LoveWorld Network.
Organisers have invited viewers around the world to join the remaining sessions for further teaching, prayers and testimonies.
