The Senator representing Ogun West Senatorial District in the National Assembly, Sen. Tolu Odebiyi has congratulated the former President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, as he celebrates his 85th birthday.
While describing the former Nigerian President as most cherished patriotic leader, as well as outstanding and dependable, Senator Odebiyi, in a statement issued on Saturday said, “We join millions of your well-wishers around the world, your amiable family, friends, associates, and other Nigerians, to celebrate with our most loving and dependable father and most cherished patriotic leader, as you celebrate your 85th birthday on Saturday, 5th March, 2022”.
“Your Excellency, my very dear Father and Most Cherished Leader, you have been a blessing to humanity, as a former Head of State and later as Civilian President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, who worked tirelessly as a patriotic and selfless leader. “Over the years, you have been a revered and outstanding Leader of men and a role model to many.
“Your untainted contributions to democratic stability and growth of the country is worthy of note. Your wealth of wisdom and indomitable spirit has truly inspired us. You are indeed a role model to the future generations. You are also a completely detribalized man and a great achiever.”.
While praying for the former President, Sen. Odebiyi said, “Our prayer for you on this auspicious occasion of your 85th birthday anniversary is that God would grant you many more healthy years, long life, robust health, more wisdom, enduring grace, peace and many more fruitful years to enable you eat the fruits of your labour”.
