    Easter: Kogi Poly Rector Felicitates With Christians, harps on Sacrifice, love

    The Rector of Kogi State Polytechnic, By Friday Idachaba, Lokoja, Dr Salisu Ogbo Usman has called on Christian faithful to let their lives and conduct conform with Christ’s teachings, be submissive to God Almighty, radiate love, peace and humility.

    The Rector gave the admonition while felicitating with Christian faithful on the auspicious occasion of the 2024 Easter celebration on Sunday in Lokoja.

    Dr Ogbo Usman said, “On behalf of the Governing Council, Academic Board, Management, staff and students of Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja, I wish to felicitate with all the Christian faithful on the auspicious occasion of this year’s Easter celebration.

    “I would like to enjoin us to, in conformity with Christ’s teachings, be submissive to God Almighty, radiate love, peace and humility.”

    He urged the Christian faithful not to lose sight but keep in mind, as they celebrate unique occasion, the significance of the Season which is the perfect demonstration of sacrificial love for others.

    The Rector also called for prayers for the state and the nation, seeking divine intervention in the efforts to overcome the challenges confronting the people.

    “It is my sincere wish that we take advantage of this revitalising occasion to pray for the advancement of Kogi State Polytechnic, Kogi State and Nigeria in general, so as to ensure prosperity for all”, he said. (Ends)
