    ***Asks him to offer evidence

The All Progressives Congress has called out the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar and his minions to offer evidence to support their wild, hollow and mischievous claims that the Bola Ahmed Tinubu-led administration was plotting to intimidate members of the judiciary towards unduly influencing the outcome of pending cases before the courts.

According to the ruling party, Atiku’s statement lacked substance and cogency, adding that its only imaginable purpose was a childish attempt to float an alibi to deflect the shame of a highly probable defeat in court.

The APC in a statement by its National Publicity Secretary, Mr Felix Morka, indicated that there was nothing in Atiku’s statement that was worth a reaction from the APC

Quite frankly, there is nothing in Abubakar’s statement, that is worth a reaction from the APC.

Atiku on Saturday, July 22, 2023,  accused the APC-led government of plotting to intimidate members of the judiciary towards unduly influencing the outcome of pending cases before the court.

But, reacting, the APC’s spokesman, Morka said Atiku and his party offered no evidence to support their allegations that the February 25, 2023 presidential election was characterised by irregularities.

Morka further said; “Our attention has been drawn to a press statement by a media aide to Atiku Abubakar, Presidential Candidate of the PDP. The statement alleges that the APC and its government are engaged in a plot to intimidate members of the judiciary towards unduly influencing the outcome of pending cases before the court.

“Atiku Abubakar and his minions offered no evidence to support their wild, hollow and mischievous allegations.

“Quite frankly, there is nothing in Abubakar’s statement, that is worth a reaction from the APC,” he said.
