Dickson Welcomes Marafa, Hails Him as “Big Political Catch”

At a reception in Abuja, NDC National Leader Seriake Dickson formally welcomed Marafa, describing his entry as a major political boost.
“Distinguished Senator Kabiru Marafa… today you are reporting for national duty,” he said.
Dickson called him a “big political catch,” adding jokingly: “He is more than a big elephant.”
He stressed the move was a homecoming, not a campaign.
“This is not the campaign. This is a man coming to a house suited to his principles and service record.”
He said the NDC is rooted in service:
“Power must be for service, otherwise it becomes a burden.”
Dickson expressed confidence in Marafa’s role in strengthening the party in Zamfara, adding:
“With him leading in Zamfara, the story will change for good.”
He also claimed rapid national growth:
“In a few months, we are among the most accepted parties in Nigeria.”
And insisted on stability:
“No crisis, no court case, no faction, no dispute.”
