****Rejects Abure’s Desperation Tactics, Declares Loyalty to Acting National Chair

The Labour Party (LP) leadership in Kagarko Local Government Area of Kaduna State has raised the alarm over what it describes as a deliberate plot by suspended former chairman Julius Abure and his loyalists to destabilize the party and discredit its Acting National Chairman, Senator Nenadi Usman.
In a strongly worded joint statement issued by Comrade Zephaniah Yohanna (Chairman) and Hassan Sulaiman (Secretary), the Kagarko LP condemned ongoing moves to impose illegitimate leaders on its local structure, describing the attempt as external interference and political sabotage.
“This is nothing short of a reckless attempt by impostors to sow chaos and discredit the Senator Nenadi Usman-led national leadership,” the statement declared. “We will not sit idly by and watch our structures be hijacked by mercenaries.”
The Kagarko chapter reaffirmed that Comrade Zephaniah Yohanna remains the duly elected and recognized Chairman of the Labour Party in the area, warning that any contrary claims are false, unlawful, and will be resisted.
Calling it part of a wider agenda to destabilize the party nationally, the statement issued a clear warning: “These attempts will fail.”
    The statement continued:
“The entire Labour Party structure in Kagarko reaffirms its total loyalty to the Acting National Chairman, Senator Nenadi Usman, and passes a resounding vote of confidence in her leadership.
“Any efforts by suspended individuals or their agents to hijack local party organs will be resisted through all legitimate means.
“We urge security agencies, the media, and the public to disregard any fake statements, impersonators, or rogue actors claiming leadership of the Labour Party in Kagarko.
“The only authorized communications from our party in this LGA come from the office of Chairman Zephaniah Yohanna and his duly elected executive team.”
The statement concluded with a rallying call for unity and vigilance among party members:
“We call on all party faithful and stakeholders to remain resolute, peaceful, and united in defending the integrity of the Labour Party.
“This is a warning to those who think they can destabilize our local chapter: we will not be intimidated, we will not be divided, and we will not be silent.”
