    RECTOR of Kogi State Polytechnic Lokoja, Prof. Salisu Ogbo Usman has commended Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo of Kogi State for his focused leadership, commitment to continuity, progress, and the deepening of democratic ideals.

    Prof. Usman made the commendation in his felicitations to the Governor on the occasion of the 2025 Democracy Day (June 12) celebration, made available to newsmen by Mrs Uredo Omale,
    Director, Public Relations and Protocol of the Polytechnic.

    The Rector noted that Governor Ododo’s early strides in consolidating on the gains of the past while charting a bold path for the future had been inspiring and impactful.

    He stressed that the Polytechnic would remain committed to the actualisation of His Excellency’s Educational vision through dedication to academic excellence and impacting knowledge on civic responsibility and nation-building.

    “We are confident that under your visionary leadership, the Polytechnic and indeed the entire Education sector will continue to thrive”, he continued.

    Prof. Usman urged all citizens to remain united, peaceful, and be active participants in the democratic process.

    He urged them to continue to harness “our diversity and collective strength to build a more prosperous Kogi State and Nigeria as we commemorate the 2025 Democracy Day.”

    The Rector, on behalf of the Management, Academic Board, staff and students of the Polytechnic, congratulated the Governor, all Kogites and Nigerians as he prayed for enduring peace, progress and democratic consolidation. (Ends)
