    Kogi CP Dantawaye charges new officers on professionalism, service delivery

    CP Miller Gajere Dantawaye, Commissioner of Police, Kogi State Command, has charged newly graduated officers of Course 7, to uphold professionalism, commitment, hard work and improved service delivery.

    The Commissioner gave the charge during the week-long in-house Refresher Training Graduation ceremony held in honour of the officers at the Command Headquarters in Lokoja.

    Dantawaye stressed that improved mental capacity and weapon handling remain critical for the sustenance of the ongoing onslaught against criminal elements in the state.

    He urged the officers to utilize the knowledge and skills acquired during the one-week intensive training in their operations, to ensure better and more effective service delivery in their respective areas of deployment.

    The Commissioner of Police commended their level of commitment, enthusiasm, and resilience exhibited by the Course 7 graduates during the training.

    He noted that with the performance displayed, the Command is poised to experience enhanced service delivery.

    CP Dantawaye commended the Commanding Officer, 37 PMF Lokoja, ACP Abubakar Umar, for successfully coordinating the training exercise and equally commended the instructors for their unwavering dedication to building the capacity of officers in the Command.

    He further disclosed that the next batch of trainees, Course 8, would commence their one-week training on Monday, 12th May. (Ends)
