Less than two years into his first term, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has received a strong endorsement for re-election from the Host Communities of Nigeria Producing Oil and Gas (HOSTCOM) and their Grand Patron, High Chief Government Ekpemupolo (Tompolo).
Citing Tinubu’s economic reforms and security initiatives, HOSTCOM declared their full support, highlighting his success in stabilizing the oil and gas sector, curbing crude theft, and boosting national revenue.
Speaking at a press conference in Abuja, HOSTCOM President, High Chief Dr. Benjamin Style Tamaranebi, praised the president’s bold leadership, stating:
“Tinubu has delivered. He has steadied the ship. He has empowered local communities. Now, continuity is key to sustaining this progress.”
He pointed to the resurgence of crude oil production from 600,000 to 1.8 million barrels per day and the impact of Tantita Security Services in tackling pipeline vandalism. Additionally, he credited the administration’s infrastructure projects, student loan scheme, and economic diversification efforts as proof of Tinubu’s effectiveness.
With the slogan *”Eyin L’okan L’eekan Si!”* (It’s Your Turn Again), HOSTCOM and Tompolo made it clear—they want Tinubu to lead until 2031, arguing that Nigeria cannot afford to gamble with its progress.
