In a pivotal meeting aimed at enhancing Nigeria’s economic resilience and infrastructure development, Honourable Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Mr. Wale Edun, has engaged with Dr. Abdulhamid Alkhalifa, President of the OPEC Fund for International Development, at the World Bank Headquarters.
The discussions centered on advancing Nigeria’s priorities in infrastructure, energy, and overall economic resilience.
Director of Information and Public Relations, Mohammed Manga in a statement explained that the goal is to secure targeted support from the OPEC Fund that can yield sustainable and long-term benefits for Nigerian communities and the broader economy.
Explaining further he said the strategic dialogue is expected to pave the way for transformative growth, enabling Nigeria to harness its vast potential and improve the quality of life for its citizens.
By leveraging the expertise of the OPEC Fund, Nigeria aims to drive significant advancements in its infrastructure and economic landscape.
