    Buhari sacks NYSC DG, Brigadier General Fadah

    President, Muhammedu Buhari has sacked the Director General of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Brigadier General Mohammad Fadah from office.
     
    Fadah’s only six months in office after his appointment as NYSC boss in May, 2022.
    Fadah has been directed to hand over to the most senior civil servant in the organisation, who is to act as Director General in the interim.
     
    The outgoing NYSC boss had in his plans to improve security and welfare of corps members as well as the enhancement of staff welfare and improving the gains of NYSC ventures.
    Other areas in his plans were sustaining the digitisation of the operations of the scheme and deepening NYSC’s impact on rural development through community development service
