Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State has sacked his commissioner for Health, Dr. Saka Haruna Audu for allegedly
diverting public funds meant for Government hospital Ajaokuta, his own Local Government
It was gathered that Dr. Audu packed out of his office in the state Ministry of Health, Lokoja, on Tuesday.
Some persons who did not want him to be so humiliated allegedly reached out to the Governor to plead on his behalf, however the effort did not yield any positive outcome
Dr. Audu was however said to have told some of his colleagues that he was suspended, not sacked.
Efforts to reach him for comments did not yield as he did not pick his calls.
Dr. Audu has been holding sway as the health commissioner for the past six years and he is said to be one of the kitchen cabinet of the Governor
