**School adoption, mentorship program will curb drug abuse, other vices

Senior Special Assistance to Kogi State Governor on Women and youth mobilization, Kabba Bunu Ijumu Federal Constituency, Hon Sunday Baiye has indicated that the State will remain at the top of the chat educationally with the policies and Framework being put together by Gov Yahaya Bello of the State

Speaking on Friday in Lokoja at the State’s School Adoption and Mentorship Program, hosted by the ministry of education, he said, the State’s Education policies will serve as a template for other states and the Federal Government to emulate.
Kogi Education Commissioner, Hon. Wemi Jones had extended invitation letter to Hon. Sunday Baiye also known as Aseda Sunny Aseda for the program.
According to him, “The school mentorship program and adoption will also help to curb Drug abuse, and other negative vices in the society.
“It will help restore morals and sanity to the society if all can key into it.”
He said he is ready to go back to the classroom to share from his wealth of experience in such a way that the students can learn and be motivated.

Aseda in the past as an Auxiliary Teacher had help many young lads become successful bankers, Doctors, Engineers and Even learned counsels through the help of his children Club tagged ‘Star and Talent Children Organization’
Hon Aseda a Mathematician cum brand influencer and a well celebrated TV/Radio Presenter/Producer in Nigeria.
He has influenced the lives of many children and Youths.
This has gained for him respect among the younger generation who looked up to him as a role model in life.

Aseda as he is fundly called is the Producer and Presenter of the first Children Television magazine Program on TV Lokoja with the aim of building them up and impact leadership styles that could help take charge of their future.

Today in Kogi State and North Central he is one of the most Celebrated Radio Presenters on Grace 95.5 FM and Prime 101.5FM Lokoja.
He is also the Producer of the First Okun TV content, a language magazine Program for the entire sons and daughters of Okun land.
He is currently the Station manager of the all Female TV/Radio station “Wo Channels and Radio Abuja Nigeria under the supervision of Africa Development Study center before His appointment by the Executive Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency Governor Yahaya Bello.
