Governor Muhammad Badaru Abubakar of Jigawa State has commended the gallant efforts of the officers and men of the Jigawa State police command over the tracking and arrest of bandits suspected to have carrying nefarious activities in the State.
Special Adviser Media and Public Relations to the Governor Habibu Nuhu Kila in a statement quoted the Governor to have warned criminals to steer clear of the state as there is no hiding place for them.
Governor Abubakar also called on the people of the state to always maintain high level of vigilance within their environment.
Consequently, he indicated that Government is conscious of the security and wellbeing of its citizens adding that it will continue to provide maximum protection to the people
“Therefore suspicious moments of unknown people within the community should be reported to the nearest security agency.”
He gave the assurance that, all relevant security organs are working assiduously to safeguard the lives and and properties of the people.
The governor commiserated with the families and police over those who lost their lives during the incidence.
