Social commentator and businessman Isaac Fayose has challenged the ruling All Progressives Congress to prove its electoral strength at the ballot box, claiming the party cannot win at least three of Nigeria’s 10 states with the highest number of registered voters without rigging.
Fayose, in a video shared on his official Facebook page on Tuesday, listed Lagos, Kano, Kaduna, Katsina, Rivers, Oyo, Delta, Benue, Ogun and Bauchi as the states where he questioned the APC’s electoral strength.
He alleged that the ruling party’s influence rested more on its control of federal power and access to security agencies and wealthy interests than on grassroots support.

“You are strong because you have the police, the army and the rich people, but you are not strong on the street. You all are bullies,” he said.
Fayose challenged the APC to allow opposition parties to campaign freely and let voters determine the outcome of the 2027 general elections.
“If you people are sure of yourself, why not allow free and fair elections? Why are you stopping us from campaigning?” he asked.
He added: “Allow free, fair and credible elections and we will know who is the boss and who is a bully.”
The social commentator’s remarks come amid growing political activity ahead of the 2027 general elections, with opposition figures raising concerns about campaign access, electoral neutrality and the role of security agencies.
However, Fayose’s assertion that the APC cannot win three of the listed states without electoral manipulation was his personal claim and was not accompanied by supporting polling data or other evidence in the statement.
