Incumbent governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State has won the 2023 governorship ticket of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Reports from the Congress which held Thursday in Lafia, indicated that Sule polled 735 votes to defeat his rival in the race, Dr. Fatima Abdullahi Hussain who scored zero.
Dr Fatima a former wife of the APC National Chairman, Alhaji Abdullahi Adamu.
She hails from Doma in Nasarawa State.
The congress which took place at Lafia City Hall along Shendam Road Lafia, was adjudged to be free and fair.
