    Obi Mourns NAF Crash Victims, Demands Honour for Fallen Servicemen

    Presidential candidate of the New Nigeria Democratic Congress, Peter Obi, has expressed condolences to the Nigerian Air Force and the families of personnel who lost their lives in an aircraft crash.
    Obi, in a condolence message, said he was deeply saddened by news of the crash involving a Nigerian Air Force aircraft.
    He sympathised with the families of the deceased officers and personnel, as well as their colleagues and loved ones, describing the loss as painful.
    According to him, the affected personnel devoted their lives to defending Nigeria and protecting its citizens.
    “These courageous men and women devote their lives to defending our nation and safeguarding our people. Their service and sacrifice must never be overlooked,” Obi said.
    He prayed for the eternal repose of the deceased and asked God to grant their families consolation and strength.
    Obi also prayed for the Nigerian Air Force and the wider Armed Forces of Nigeria, urging divine protection for personnel serving the country.
    “May God continue to watch over all who serve our country and protect them as they carry out their duties,” he added.
