The All Progressives Congress (APC) has officially appointed Hon. Engr. Magaji Dau Aliyu, PhD, mni, as Secretary of its Congress Committee for Nasarawa State, signaling strong confidence in his leadership and administrative abilities.
According to party sources, Aliyu’s appointment highlights his proven competence, dedication to the party’s progressive agenda, and ability to strengthen internal democracy. The Congress Committee plays a key role in coordinating party congresses, ensuring transparency, and upholding democratic principles within APC structures.
Aliyu’s new role follows his recent appointment by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as Managing Director of the Sheda Science and Technology Complex (SHESTCO) in Abuja, a move confirmed in a statement by the President’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga.
A former lawmaker and currently Deputy Director General (North) of the Tinubu Support Group (TSG), Aliyu is also recognized as a committed grassroots APC leader in Jigawa State.
Party insiders say his latest assignment underscores the leadership’s trust in experienced, loyal members to manage key responsibilities and reflects Aliyu’s growing influence within the party.
