New Year: Achuba Congratulates Nigerians, Kogites

Former Deputy Governor of Kogi State, Elder Simon Achuba, has congratulated Nigerians, particularly the people of Kogi State, for successfully overcoming the challenges of 2025 and making it into the New Year, 2026.
In a New Year message personally signed by him, Achuba extended warm felicitations to Nigerians from all walks of life, thanking God for the grace to witness another year. He noted that the dawn of 2026 brings renewed joy, hope, and great anticipation of God’s divine plans for individuals, families, and the nation at large.
He prayed for God’s guidance in the year ahead, urging Nigerians to see both opportunities and challenges as pathways to growth, while calling for unity, peace, and collective responsibility in building a better country.
The former Deputy Governor expressed optimism that the New Year would open fresh chapters in the lives of Nigerians, adding that with sustained prayers and commitment, the country’s prevailing security challenges would witness positive change.
Achuba specifically appealed to Kogites to remain steadfast and focused in their collective commitment to the development of Kogi State. He also urged citizens to show compassion by remembering the less privileged, especially during the promising New Year season.
“May the New Year bless all and sundry with unwavering faith, and may your hearts be filled with hope and strength throughout this year and beyond. Congratulations, and I wish you a blissful and prosperous New Year,” he said.
