Member of the House of Representatives for Gwaram Federal Constituency, Hon. Yusif Shitu Galambi, says he joined the All Progressives Congress (APC) because of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s fairness, vision, and inclusive leadership style.

Galambi, who until recently was a member of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), disclosed this in Dutse after he and more than 64,000 defectors from various opposition parties were formally welcomed into the APC by the party’s National Chairman, Prof. Nentawe Yilwada, during a grand rally attended by five governors and several top party leaders.

According to the lawmaker, both President Tinubu and Governor Umar Namadi have demonstrated uncommon commitment to governance and development — qualities that convinced him and his supporters to align with the APC.

“The fairness and commitment of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Malam Umar Namadi to the development of Nigeria and Jigawa State attracted and convinced me and my people to join the APC,” he said.

Galambi, who chairs the House Committee on Legislative Library, Research and Documentation, also praised Speaker Tajudeen Abbas for his inclusive leadership in the National Assembly.

“The Speaker’s kindness and impartiality, ensuring that every member enjoys equal rights regardless of party affiliation, further inspired my decision,” he noted.

The lawmaker commended President Tinubu for approving key projects for his constituency, even while he was in the opposition — describing them as *“unprecedented in the history of Gwar
