The Jigawa State chapter of the Nigerian Butchers and Livestock Sellers Association (NBLSA) has kick-started a fundraising campaign to purchase the 2027 nomination forms for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Malam Umar Namadi, under the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Chairman of the association, Alhaji Muhammad Maifulani Dutse, made the announcement in Dutse, revealing that the NBLSA had already deposited ₦1 million as an initial contribution. He said the gesture was a show of appreciation for the “remarkable economic and infrastructural strides” recorded by both leaders since taking office.

According to Maifulani, the NBLSA has fully endorsed Tinubu and Namadi for a second term and will launch an appeal fund to mobilise substantial donations from members and well-meaning citizens.
“We believe in starting early so that everyone can contribute according to their means ahead of the 2027 elections,” he said. “President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope agenda is transforming lives nationwide, while Governor Namadi’s 12-point agenda has brought unprecedented development to Jigawa State.”
He cited key achievements of the Tinubu administration, including improved revenue generation, infrastructure upgrades, and enhanced public services. On the state level, Maifulani highlighted Governor Namadi’s completion of 25 inherited road projects, award of 42 new ones, upgrade of over 180 primary healthcare centres, employment of 1,200 health workers, recruitment of 6,000 teachers, and empowerment of 600,000 youths and women through business support schemes.
“Jigawa is on the path to prosperity. We call on patriotic Nigerians to donate towards these nomination forms as a mark of appreciation for the sacrifices made by these leaders,” Maifulani declared.
He also urged Governor Namadi to spearhead fundraising efforts for President Tinubu in Jigawa, while nominating Maiunguwa Jaga to coordinate the governor’s campaign contributions.
