    Mustapha Lamido(jnr) declares for Governorship in Jigawa

    The son of immediate past Governor of Jigawa State, Mustapha Sule Lamido has thrown his hat in the ring to contest for the governorship position in Jigawa State under the platform of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP)
    Lamido(jnr) also known as Santurakin Dutse, made the declaration before party supporters in Dutse on Thursday
    The Aspirant, indicated that after series of consultations with elders, leaders, youths and women he made up his mind to contest jigawa for the office of Governor in Jigawa State come 2023.
    According to him he was pressurized by supporters to contest as they have confidence in him going by his vast knowledge and experience
    He said his youthful age will be his driving force to success

    The Aspirant called on politicians to strive at all cost to impact positively on their communities and be just and fair in the discharge of their responsibilities
    Lamido(jnr) is the first politician to declare his intention to run for the office of the Governor in the state.                        
    The aspirant was the Jigawa central senatorial candidate for the party in 2019 general election.
    Lamido(jnr) is the second son of Alhaji Sule Lamido, who governed the state for two terms.
