Youth/women group under the aegis of Yahaya Bello Network(YBN) on Tuesday declared their support for governor Yahaya Bello on his 2023 presidential ambition.
The chairman of the Nasarawa chapter of the group, Mr. Ibrahim Ibrahim who spoke with newsmen at the inauguration of the group in Lafia said the youths are fully in support of Yahaya Bello because they are tired of old people style of leadership.
Ibrahim noted that over twenty thousand youths and women in the state have already indicated their interest to support Yahaya Bello.
“Today youths and women across the 19 northern states are declaring their full support and inaugurating the YBN to commence consultation with other youth groups to garner support to actualize Bello’s presidential aspiration.
“We the youths and women in the 19 northern states are calling on Yahaya Bello to declare his presidential intention. We want one of us the youth to pilot the affairs of this country like other countries of the world”, Ibrahim explained.
Ibrahim assured that the group would mobilize more than one million youths and women across the state in support of governor Yahaya Bello’s presidential aspiration.
He however called on youths in the country to shun political thuggery, desist from being used by politicians to achieve their selfish aims after which they are dumped.
