A group operating under the name ‘Nasarawa Youth Vanguard’, has thrown its weight behind the Presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP) Peter Obi describing him as the most credible candidate among all those contesting for the presidency.

The group also expressed optimism that Comr Joseph Ewuga will win the March governorship election in Nasarawa state.

Ewuga was last year endorsed by the labour party governorship delegates in Nasarawa, making him the gubernatorial candidate.

Addressing journalists in Lafia Wednesday, the chairman of the group Musa Abdul, and secretary Sani Ibrahim, said Comr. Ewuga is the only candidate that will deliver Nasarawa from the stranglehold of the All Progressive Congress underdevelopment.

They added that only the Presidential candidate of LP, Peter Obi and Ewuga have the capacity to save Nigeria and Nasarawa respectively from the present mess.

“The coming of Peter Obi has boosted the Political atmosphere in the country and the coming of Ewuga has boosted the Labour party in the state again.

“The people should keep faith with the party since it is the only political party that will save Nigeria and Nigerians from the present hardship being experienced in the country.

“We as a group will work hard to mobilize votes for the Presidential candidate of LP party Ewuga, and other LP candidates so that the party will win all elections.

“We urge all Nasarawa people to come out massively and vote for the Labour Party in the forthcoming general elections in the country,” the group added.
