    Senator Ireti Kingibe Mourns Late Senator Okey Ezea

    Senator representing the Federal Capital Territory, (FCT) Ireti Kingibe has expressed profound sorrow over the passing of her colleague, the late Distinguished Senator Okey Ezea, describing his death as a great loss to his family, community, and the nation.
    In a statement, Senator Kingibe recalled Senator Ezea’s courage, conviction, and dedication to public service.
    She described him as a principled leader who consistently championed the needs of his constituents and worked tirelessly for the progress of the country.
    “Senator Ezea’s voice, passion, and commitment to public service will be remembered with deep respect,” she said.
    Senator Kingibe prayed for comfort and strength for the Ezea family during this difficult time, asking that God grant them peace and grace to carry forward his legacy.
    She also prayed that Senator Ezea’s soul finds eternal rest and that his memory remains a blessing to all who knew him.
    On behalf of the Federal Capital Territory, Senator Kingibe pledged solidarity with the family, expressing support and shared grief.
    She noted that she and the late Senator Ezea were both members of the Labour Party, highlighting their shared commitment to public service and political ideals.
