The National APC Youth Coalition (NAYC) has endorsed Ambassador Julius Stanley Aluebhosele, popularly known as the Oba of Youths, for the position of APC National Vice Chairman (South-South), describing him as “a unifying figure with the passion and capacity to amplify the voice of young people within the party.”
Unveiling the endorsement at a press conference in Abuja on Friday, NAYC leaders said their decision came after wide consultations across the country, noting that Aluebhosele’s loyalty, grassroots mobilisation strength, and record of youth empowerment stood him out among contenders.
Comrade Charles Osagie, the coalition’s National Coordinator, praised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for stabilising the APC and “opening doors for young Nigerians through policies and appointments that inspire renewed hope.”
He further applauded Edo State Governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo, for his “youth-inclusive leadership style,” urging the party leadership to zone the South-South vice chairmanship to Edo State.
Highlighting Aluebhosele’s profile, the coalition pointed to his philanthropy and job creation initiatives through Interflash Farms Limited and Affluence Group of Companies. “He is not just a loyal party man,” Osagie said, “but a tested leader who represents what youth inclusion in leadership should look like.”
The NAYC urged APC stakeholders across the South-South to rally behind him, saying his emergence would strengthen regional representation and deepen youth participation in party affairs.
“With one voice, we declare Ambassador Julius Aluebhosele, the Oba of Youths, as the most qualified and credible candidate for the office of APC National Vice Chairman (South-South),” the coalition stated.
