Yakubu Ruba, SAN Hails Prof. Nentawe’s Emergence as APC National Chairman

Legal luminary and Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Yakubu A.H. Ruba, has warmly congratulated Professor Nentawe Yilwatda Goshwe on his emergence as the new National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Professor Nentawe, currently serving as Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, was unanimously elected by the party’s National Executive Committee (NEC) on Thursday to succeed Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje, who stepped down in June citing personal and health reasons.

In a goodwill message, Ruba described the new party helmsman as a “brilliant mind, tested academic, and visionary leader,” expressing confidence that his wealth of experience would reinvigorate the APC and elevate its national stature.
His Special Assistant, Media Affairs, Aliyu Sa’id Ibrahim in a statement issued on Thursday quoted him thus,
“Nentawe brings with him a rare blend of intellect, integrity, and commitment to public service,” Ruba stated. “His leadership will not only reposition the APC for the future but also rekindle hope in the party’s founding ideals.”

The senior advocate noted that with Nentawe at the helm, the APC is poised to consolidate its gains and inspire greater public trust ahead of the 2027 elections.
