The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Jigawa State has issued a stern warning to party members who engage in rumor-mongering and acts that threaten the unity and stability of the party and government.

In a powerful press release titled “A CAUTION TO UNPATRIOTIC ELEMENTS SEEKING TO THROW JIGAWA INTO DISREPUTE,” State APC Secretary Mr. Muhammad Dikuma condemned the recent wave of baseless criticisms and divisive rhetoric circulating within the state.

“The APC Jigawa Chapter views these dissenting voices as fundamentally misguided and lacking a proper understanding of governance under the leadership of Governor Malam Umar Namadi,” the statement declared.

Mr. Dikuma emphasized that the party will not tolerate any attempts—whether subtle or overt—to undermine the government or disrupt the peace and progress achieved so far. “These media-fueled attacks are deliberate ploys aimed at destabilizing the administration and eroding public confidence,” he said.

He further warned that the APC will not hesitate to impose strict disciplinary measures, including legal action, against any member or group found guilty of spreading falsehoods or inciting discord.

“The Governor and the Minister of Defence maintain a strong and cooperative relationship focused on advancing Jigawa’s development agenda,” the statement affirmed.

The party called on all members and stakeholders to channel their energies toward fostering unity, peace, and the full realization of democratic dividends across the state.

“We are committed to safeguarding the integrity of our party and government,” Mr. Dikuma concluded. “Any unpatriotic charlatan who seeks to tarnish our reputation for personal gain will face the full weight of the law.”
