Former Minister of State for Mines and Steel, Dr. Uche Ogah, has joined forces with the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Benjamin Kalu, to support President Bola Tinubu’s re-election in 2027.

Dr. Ogah made this known when he visited the Renewed Hope Partners (RHP) office in Umuahia on Saturday. He said he was ready to work closely with Kalu to make sure the president gets strong support in Abia State and across the Southeast.

“We have always worked together. Now, I am here to join you fully. We will use our time, energy, and resources to push this Renewed Hope message. With our strong team, Tinubu can go to sleep—we’ll deliver the victory,” Ogah said.

Ogah praised Kalu for his work in the National Assembly, especially for helping to establish the South East Development Commission (SEDC). He said the commission will help fix the region and give the Igbo people what they have lacked since 1970.

“This is about rebuilding, reconnecting, and giving our people what they deserve. Thank you, Deputy Speaker, for standing for the Southeast,” he added.

Ogah also said he believes the future belongs to those who keep dreaming and working hard.

In his reply, Deputy Speaker Kalu thanked Ogah for his support.

“You are an important leader. You’ve invested a lot in Abia. I’m glad we are now on the same team,” Kalu said.

He also shared plans to travel across Nigeria to tell people about what President Tinubu has done so far.

“We are going beyond the Southeast. We want the whole country to see what’s happening. Many people are ready to join. Together, we will make things happen,” Kalu added.

Many believe this new alliance between Ogah and Kalu will make the Tinubu 2027 campaign stronger in the Southeast.
