The Kogi State Government has launched a new monthly newsletter titled Lugard House Monthly to enhance transparency and keep citizens better informed about the activities of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo’s administration.

The publication, spearheaded by the Governor’s Special Adviser on Media, Hon. Ismaila Isah, is designed to serve as a digest of policies, projects, and official engagements. It follows the widely acclaimed Kogi Annual Media Report released in April 2025.

According to Hon. Isah, the newsletter is part of ongoing media reforms to ensure that Kogites have consistent access to verified government information.
“Lugard House Monthly provides a reliable snapshot of government activities. It’s a practical resource for journalists, citizens, and researchers tracking the progress of the Ododo-led administration,” he said.
The first edition of the newsletter captures major highlights from May 2025, including updates on infrastructure, social welfare, economic reforms, and grassroots engagements.

Published by the Office of the Special Adviser on Media, the newsletter will be issued monthly and made accessible to the public via digital and print formats.
Hon. Isah expressed confidence that the initiative would further showcase the government’s achievements and foster closer communication between the state and its people.
