    Kogi CP pledges collaboration with NLC in areas of mutual interest

    Commissioner of Police, Kogi State Police Command, CP Miller Dantawaye has reaffirmed the Command’s readiness to collaborate with the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) in areas of mutual interest in the bid to move the state forward.

    Dantawaye disclosed this while receiving the state Chairman of the NLC, Comrade Gabriel Amari who led a delegation from the Congress to the Command headquarters on a courtesy to the Commissioner on Wednesday in Lokoja.

    CP Miller Dantawaye who warmly welcomed the delegation assured them of the Command’s unwavering commitment to providing the necessary support for the industrial bodies in the state.

    He reiterated the Command’s commitment to sustain and improve on the existing cordial working relationship with the Labour Union.

    Dantawaye also reaffirmed the Command’s readiness to collaborate with the NLC in areas of mutual interest for the betterment of the state.

    Speaking earlier, Comrade Amari stated that, the primary purpose of the visit was to foster stronger ties by strengthening the existing cordial relationship between the Nigeria Police Force and the Labour Unions in the State.

    Amari further emphasized the importance of collaboration in ensuring peace, security, and promotion of workers’ welfare across the state.

    He promised that the Organized Labour in Kogi State would continue to partner with the Police to ensure the prevalence and maintenance of law and order in the State. (Ends)
