The Obidient movement is grieving the loss of Zubairu Momoh, a devoted supporter of Peter Obi, who battled illness with resilience before passing away during the holy month of Ramadan.

Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s former presidential candidate, expressed his sorrow in a heartfelt message on his X-Handle on Tuesday.
He recalled visiting Momoh at a Lagos hospital, where the ailing supporter remained hopeful despite his condition.

“I urged him to stay strong while we all prayed for his recovery,” Obi stated. “His passing is heartbreaking, but we surrender to the will of the Almighty, who alone determines our fate.”

Momoh was deeply committed to the vision of a better Nigeria, playing a vital role in the Obidient movement. His absence creates a significant void in the struggle for good governance.

On behalf of his family and the wider Obidient community, Obi extended condolences to Momoh’s loved ones, particularly his wife. He prayed for divine strength for them and eternal peace for the deceased.

As tributes continue to flow, many remember Momoh as a passionate advocate for positive change, whose dedication will inspire generations in Nigeria’s political journey.
