    Kogi Poly Rector tasks Muslims on sacrifice, love, compassion, values beyond Ramadan

    Rector, Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja, Prof. Salisu Ogbo Usman has called on the Muslim Ummah to sustain the values of sacrifice, love and compassion beyond Ramadan and as well, foster peace, unity, and progress in the country.

    In his Sallah message to the people, Prof. Usman, on behalf of the Management, Academic Board, staff and students of the institution, congratulated the muslim faithful on the completion of Ramadan fast and celebration of Eid-el-Fitr.

    He also congratulated Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, his government and people of the State for the “successful moment of spiritual reflection, devotion and self-discipline which are the hallmarks of the month of Ramadan.

    “As we celebrate, I encourage us all to sustain the values of sacrifice, love and compassion beyond Ramadan, fostering peace, unity, and progress in our State in particular and the country as a whole.

    “On this auspicious day, may the Almighty Allah accept our acts of worship, shower His abundant blessings upon us and grant us lasting happiness, peace and prosperity. (Ends)
