The President of the 10th Senate, Senator Godswill Akpabio, has extended his heartfelt congratulations to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, on the occasion of his 73rd birthday.

In a personally signed congratulatory message, Akpabio described President Tinubu’s passion for Nigeria’s progress as contagious, adding that his vision and dedication to national development continue to inspire millions.

“Your Excellency, on behalf of my family, my constituents, the Senate, and the entire National Assembly, I extend my warmest wishes on your 73rd birthday. Today marks a significant milestone in your life, and I am honored to celebrate with you.

“Your leadership, vision, and dedication to our great nation are truly remarkable. As Senate President, I have had the privilege of working closely with you, and I must say that your passion for Nigeria’s progress is infectious.

Akpabio praised President Tinubu’s political journey, describing him as one of Nigeria’s most audacious and visionary leaders highlighting his steadfast commitment to democratic principles, resilience in confronting authoritarian regimes, and his pivotal role in reshaping Nigeria’s political landscape.

“I must confess that Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is one of the greatest leaders Nigeria has ever produced. Over the past 73 years, you have built a legacy of courage, strategic leadership, and unwavering dedication to democracy.

“Your role in the formation of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in 2013 was instrumental in breaking the dominance of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and reshaping Nigeria’s political history. Your unwavering support was crucial to the victories of Muhammadu Buhari and the APC in 2015 and 2019.”

Reflecting on Tinubu’s presidency over the past two years, Akpabio commended his bold economic reforms and commitment to democratic values, assuring Nigerians that the country is in capable and visionary hands.

“As President of Nigeria, you have shown remarkable leadership in navigating complex challenges. Your advocacy for democratic principles and decisive economic policies are already yielding positive results. Under your guidance, Nigeria is on a path to greater stability and progress.”

Recognizing the significance of Tinubu’s birthday coinciding with the holy month of Ramadan, Akpabio offered prayers for wisdom, strength, and good health for the President.

He prayed that the Almighty Allah grants him continued wisdom, strength, and good health to steer the nation towards even greater heights.
